Economic Hardship
Financial Assistance - Available for Soldiers injured in the Line of Duty
for which they now have a financial hardship. Also available for a
surviving spouse or minor child in the event of death or incapacitation of
the service member where the injury was incurred in the Line of Duty
and resulted in financial hardship. Eligibility Criteria includes the following:​

Availability of funds and approval by the 108th Griffon Association Board of Directors.

Currently or previously assigned to the 108th Training Command (IET) or one of their current or former subordinate units.

Have served honorably.

Soldiers currently assigned must have a letter affirming the injury occurred in the Line of Duty and is now causing financial hardship. The letter must be written by at least one or more of the following:

​An O-3 or higher in the Chain of Command

An E7 or higher in the NCO Support Channel

The 108th Training Command Family Support Group

Former 108th Soldiers no longer in TPU, AGR or Active-Duty status must provide a letter from their medical provider affirming their injury was duty related. Additional documentation substantiating the financial need and how it was caused by the service-related injury is required from the current or former service member.
