Why We Exist

The 108th Griffon Association was established in 1999 under the Internal Revenue Code as a North Carolina 501(c)19 tax exempt organization for the benefit of veterans of the United States Armed Forces. As a volunteer organization, all funds raised, net of operating expenses, support Soldiers of the 108th Training Command, their families, and Veterans. Our Board of Directors are volunteers and former 108th Soldiers who do not receive any compensation.

We provide educational scholarships each year for qualified candidates, support for 108th Training Command competitive events, grants for service members experiencing economic hardship due to injuries incurred in the line of duty, and we support selected non-profit organizations helping veterans in need.

Funds are raised through membership dues and our annual golf tournament.

We live by the motto, “Be A Patriot, Help A Soldier.” Check out our track record.
